Your Father Cares

"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7

The command to cast your cares on God is not just permission — it is an instruction. You are told to do this because He cares for you. The reason behind the command is the revelation of God's heart: He is not indifferent to what you go through.

The word 'cares' in the Greek is meléi — meaning it matters to Him. Your situation is not too small for God's attention, and it is not too big for His ability. Everything about your life matters to your Heavenly Father.

Some people carry their burdens because they are afraid God is too busy, or that their problems are not 'spiritual' enough to bring to Him. But Jesus said even the very hairs of your head are numbered (Luke 12:7). That is the level of attention God gives to the details of your life.

Release your worries to Him today. Not because it is easy, but because He has earned your trust. He proved His care at Calvary. He has shown His attentiveness in every answered prayer. Your Father cares — and that changes everything.

CONFESSION OF PEACE

I cast every care and worry on my Heavenly Father.

God cares for me deeply and attentively.

I am free from anxiety because my Father is in control.

I rest in the arms of a God who has never stopped caring for me.
