Who we are

A family rooted in the Word of His Grace

Christ WonderFamily Ministries began with a handful of students who met to pray and share the Gospel. Today we are a growing family of fellowships, Sunday services and campus ministries, still led by the same conviction: that the message of grace in Christ builds and transforms lives.

  • The Word of His Grace

We believe the Bible is God's Word and that the message of grace in Christ is the truth that builds and transforms the believer.

  • Salvation in Christ

Salvation is a free gift received by faith in Jesus Christ — who died for our sins and rose for our righteousness.

  • A family, not a crowd

We are a WonderFamily: believers growing together in fellowships, cells and campus ministries across Ghana.

Our journey

How God has grown a school prayer meeting into a family of churches.

  1. 2009

    The Ministry's Humble Beginnings

The ministry's roots date back to the SU meetings at Most Holy Heart School, where a small group of passionate individuals gathered to worship and share the Gospel. As the ministry grew, small gatherings were held after school and during vacation classes (2010–2012). After completing BECE, these gatherings shifted to a home setting, laying the groundwork for the Kipfit meetings (2013).

  2. 2014–2016

    Expansion and Evangelism

The ministry's next phase took us to Cambridge School for fellowship, where we initially met without electrical lighting. This period saw the launch of our programs, starting with "The Glory of His Presence" at Club 250 (February 2015). From Cambridge, we moved to the Methodist University Ghana (MUCG) field for fellowship, marking the beginning of our SHS ministry, which expanded to Adisadel and Winnesec.

  3. 2016–2018

    Community Outreach

The ministry reached out to primary schools, seeking opportunities to preach the Gospel. Christian Home responded, inviting us to share the Gospel with their students (October 2016). This led to evangelistic gatherings like the "IT IS JESUS" Crusade at the Event Hall (December 2017), transforming lives.

  4. 2018–Present

    Leadership Development

As the ministry grew, leadership meetings tagged "EL CONFERENCES" brought together leaders from Wonderfamily Ministry and SHS fellowship leaders. Our first conference, "The Praying Leader," took place at Earl Beam in Dzorwulu (January 2019).

  5. 2019–Present

    Community Fellowships and Sunday Services

The ministry expanded to community fellowships in Kaneshie, Dansoman, and Glefe. Sunday Services commenced through evangelism in these communities, especially Glefe. We've since moved from house fellowships to larger venues, including Dansoman 1 & 2, Tetegu in Weija, and Prospect International School.

  6. 2020–Present

    Campus Ministry and Expansion

The campus ministry emerged through community fellowships, yielding four branches of churches: Adisadel, Winnesec, Kaneshie, and Dansoman. Over 13–14 years, the ministry has experienced remarkable growth, guided by God's grace.

And the journey continues…
