There Is No Cause to Fear

Fear is a thief. It robs you of your peace, your confidence, and your ability to act on God's promises. But the child of God has been given a sure foundation — the knowledge that the earth is the Lord's and everything in it.

When you know who owns the earth, you know who owns your situation. No circumstance is beyond His authority. No door is closed to the one in whose name all authority in heaven and earth has been given.

David said in Psalm 23, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me." This was not the confidence of a man who had no enemies. It was the confidence of a man who knew whose he was.

Today, stand in that same confidence. The Lord is your Shepherd, your Provider, your Protector. There is literally no cause for fear in the life of the believer who walks in the knowledge of God's ownership over all things.
