"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to God."
Colossians 3:16

As Children of God, we are born of the Word of God. And that is why we derive our nourishment from the Word. "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2). God's word is food for us, and that is why it's important we feed on it regularly. The Word of God builds us. It grants us the inherent ability to mature, as we become one with it.

But what is the recommended diet for the child of God? Nutritionally, certain foods are regarded unwholesome for the body, while others are endorsed to be healthy. It is same with God's word. The Apostle Paul, through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, gave us the recommended diet — "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the WORD OF HIS GRACE, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified." (Acts 20:32). The Word of His Grace is simply the Word of Christ [as we see in our opening scripture]. It is the message that unveils Jesus Christ and His love for the Church.

"For the law was given by Moses, but GRACE and TRUTH came by JESUS CHRIST." (John 1:17). Jesus is the fountain of Grace. And Grace is the Truth, meaning any other word apart from the Word of His Grace is not the Truth. No wonder Jesus said, "I am the TRUTH" (John 14:6). Because He is full of Grace, and Grace is a revelation of God's Truth. Grace shows you the True colours of God — His real nature and personality. Only Grace reveals the in-depth Love of God.

Be constantly exposed to the Word of His Grace. The Apostle Peter climaxed His epistle with these words: "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ..." (2 Peter 3:18). The Word of His Grace adorns you with the glory and beauty of God. The more you're soaked into the Word of His Grace, the more you are edified and groomed to walk in the manifestation of all your inheritances in Christ.

When you're rich in God's word, you will be rich in all other things, because the source of all things is the Word of God. Glory to Jesus!
